LLM Context Window Size Visualizer
Compare the context window size of popular AI models and see how much text can fit inside each token limit.
Select a model to generate an interactive text sample matching its context window.
Visualize a Model's Context Window
What this context windows visualizer does?
This simulator takes the context window size of the selected model and generates a scrollable block of sample text with a matching token volume. The goal is for a human to get a sense of what can fit inside a context window, turning an abstract number, such as 128,000 or 1,000,000 tokens, into something you can feel by scrolling.
The generated text is not sent to any model and does not evaluate model quality. It is only a visual approximation of how much text can fit into each model's context window.
FAQ
Are larger context windows always better?
No. A larger context window means the model can accept more input, but quality, latency, price, retrieval accuracy, and provider-specific limits still matter. For practical model behavior tests beyond context length, see my other project: LLM Challenges.
